Welcome

I'm a London-based, award-winning illustrator with a passion for bringing stories to life through rich textures, vibrant colours, and characterful design.  I originally trained in textile and fabric design at Loughborough College of Art and Design, and that love of pattern and surface continues to shape my illustration work today.

My debut picture book, Go to Sleep, Monty! was published by Andersen Press in 2015, and since then I've had the joy of collaborating with brilliant authors on both fiction and non-fiction titles, ranging from picture books to middle-grade adventures.  Alongside illustrating, I write Young Adult and Middle Grade fiction and am proud to be a mentee with the prestigious Golden Egg Academy, working with editor Imogen Cooper.

Recent highlights include The Accidental Stowaway by Judith Eagle, which was named Waterstones Children's Book of the Month in September 2022 and shortlisted for both the Edward Stanton Travel Writers Award and the Young Quills Award in 2023.  Our follow-up, The Stolen Songbird, was also shortlisted for the Young Quills Award in 2024.  Help, I Smell a Monster! by Justin Davies and I won the 2021 FBA.

Clients include Walker Books, Faber and Faber, Oxford University Press, Orchard Books, Andersen Press, Ladybird Books, Scholastic US, Clarks, Wren and Rook.

I am a member of the AOIDirectory of Illustration, ALCS, and SoA.
