Welcome

I am an award-winning illustrator of children's books.  Having trained as a textile and fabric designer at Loughborough College of Art and Design, my character-driven illustrations infuse texture, colour and pattern.  My debut picture book, 'Go to Sleep, Monty!' was published with Andersen Press in 2015, and since then, I have collaborated with authors of both fiction and non-fiction picture and middle-grade books.

The Accidental Stowaway, by Judith Eagle and myself, won the Waterstones Children's Book of the Month September 2022.  Shortlisted for the Edward Stanton Travel Writers Award for Children's Book 2023.  Shortlisted for the Young Quills Awards 2023. The Stolen Songbird shortlisted for the Young Quills Awards 2024.

Help, I Smell a Monster, by Justin Davies and I won the 2021 FBA.

Clients include Walker Books, Faber and Faber, Oxford University Press, Orchard Books, Andersen Press, Ladybird Books, Scholastic US, Clarks, Wren and Rook.

I am represented by Holroyde Cartey and a member of the AOIDirectory of Illustration, ALCSand SoA.
